Housatonic Industrial Development Corp. (HIDC) is a state-wide, private, non-profit Certified Development Company (CDC). Based in Danbury, CT, HIDC is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a section SBA 504 lender.

HIDC’s mission is to help Connecticut’s small businesses grow, create or retain jobs and achieve economic development goals within the state of Connecticut. 

Since 1969 HIDC has been a leading resource to Connecticut’s small businesses through the creation and administration of long-term fixed-rate financing.

Our loan program helps small businesses acquire, build, expand owner occupied real estate and other fixed assets. By working with banks, other first mortgage lenders, and using the SBA 504 loan program, HIDC provides long-term financing at competitive rates.

HIDC is a member of The Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce.

Len is a seasoned commercial banker with extensive experience in commercial lending and management in Connecticut and New York. His leadership enables HIDC to converse fluently with borrowers and banking partners in a vocabulary and terminology familiar to them.
